UNIFORM PATROL DIVISION

In any full-service police agency, the Patrol Division is the backbone of the agency. These are the men and women who answer the calls for assistance, patrol the county, and watch over its citizens; the folks who deal with the public- and those who would prey on it. The Stephens County Sheriff's Office prides itself on having highly trained, motivated, and skilled deputies in its employ; and nowhere is this as evident as in the Uniform Patrol Division.

Currently, there are 4 shifts- two day shifts and two night shifts. Overseeing the day and night shifts are four Sergeants. Lt. Bruce Richards is the Division Commander.
